The National Forest Foundation (NFF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Zanelli as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). With decades of experience in nonprofit and corporate marketing, Jeff brings a fresh, results-driven approach to NFF's efforts in promoting the National Forest System. His expertise in brand development, strategic planning, and expanding outreach to diverse communities will drive the Foundation's marketing and growth initiatives.
Jeff Zanelli comes to the National Forest Foundation with a wealth of experience in marketing strategy and leadership. Most recently, he served as Vice President at Dunn & Foster, LLC, where he developed a capital investment plan and managed a large team across multiple departments. Before that, Jeff was the founder and strategist for For The Greater Good, a marketing and branding consultancy. He also held a prominent position at The Nature Conservancy, leading a team of 125 people and developing comprehensive marketing strategies.
Jeff’s deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and community engagement will be pivotal in raising public awareness and expanding NFF’s impact. As CMO, he will lead the development and execution of NFF’s marketing strategies, furthering its mission to conserve and enhance the National Forest System for current and future generations.
