Catalina Island Conservancy is pleased to announce the appointment of Adam Finck as its first-ever Chief Programs Officer. In this newly created role, Adam will lead and manage the Conservancy’s conservation, education, and recreation programs, driving the vision for these core areas and ensuring their integration to support the organization’s mission. He will help further the Conservancy’s commitment to balancing ecosystem preservation with inclusive, educational, and recreational opportunities for all. Adam joined the Conservancy on October 15, 2024. 

Adam brings two decades of experience leading global transformational environmental and educational programs. Most recently, he served as Head of Partner Operations at Terraformation, where he successfully scaled native forest restoration programs by 500% in just two years, driving expansion across four international hubs. Before Terraformation, Adam held leadership roles as Vice President of Global Programs at Bridgeway Foundation and International Programs Director at Invisible Children, where he developed and managed initiatives to preserve ecosystems and foster community resilience.

Adam’s global conservation background, strategic vision, and leadership make him an ideal fit for this role. His ability to align programs with organizational goals, inspire collaborative partnerships, and drive measurable impact will help the Conservancy continue its vital work on Catalina Island, ensuring its unique ecosystem thrives for future generations.
