Potrero Group is proud to celebrate Minnesota Public Radio | American Public Media’s (MPR|APM) appointment of eight exceptional leaders to its Board of Trustees, selected through a highly competitive open board search.
After a rigorous and collaborative process, MPR|APM is welcoming:

- Angie Lee – Founder, Brightsized and Moona Moono
- Ash Hanson – Founder & Creative Executive Officer, Department of Public Transformation
- Jennifer Barrett – Managing Director, Head of Content and Communications, J.P. Morgan Chase
- Mark Nelson – Venture Partner, Madrona Venture Group
- Rebekah Dopp – Chief Executive Officer, Better Business Bureau
- Sherry Sanchez Tibbets – Vice President, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Greater Twin Cities United Way
- Todd Restel – Chief Financial Officer and Chairman of the Board, First Supply LLC
These eight leaders bring forward-looking leadership and deep experience in innovation across media, technology, digital transformation, marketing, business and finance strategy, philanthropy, and community engagement. Their breadth and diversity of insight, along with their commitment to public service, will help MPR|APM deepen its local impact, expand its national reach, and navigate an increasingly complex media landscape.
As trustees, they will help guide organizational strategy, support trusted journalism and cultural programming, and ensure MPR|APM continues to evolve in response to shifting audience behaviors and rapidly advancing technologies. Their leadership will be instrumental as MPR|APM strengthens audience engagement through bold, innovative thinking and continues its role as a vital civic institution for Minnesota and the nation.
