Home / Executive Search / Parks Alliance of Louisville CEO

As the citywide parks nonprofit, the Parks Alliance of Louisville drives equitable investment in our public parks to improve the health & wellbeing of the entire community. The next CEO will steward a community-driven vision, leading with resilience and persistence to realize vibrant parks for all of Louisville.

Louisvillians rely on their parks—and they want to see them thrive. The Parks Alliance of Louisville supports more than a hundred of Louisville Metro’s public parks. The Alliance advocates for increased investment in the park system, educates community leaders on the social, economic, health, and environmental advantages of parks, and raises capital for priority projects.

Through its signature “Parks For All” initiative, the Alliance created a data-driven, 15-year action plan to bring funding of Louisville’s public parks on par with peer cities and ensure every park in the city meets the needs of the community it serves. Working with Metro government, community partners, and philanthropic funders, the Alliance is transforming public parks into hubs of mental, physical, and emotional health, ensuring every Louisvillian, regardless of zip code, has access to quality greenspace.
